How does Science Olympiad work?
Science Olympiad consists of 7 events:

3 Theory Events: Events that consist of questions and answers. These events are usually written test format, except for Science Jeopardy.

3 Practical/Build Events: Events that require students to construct an item and bring it to the competition, or construct an item at the competition.

Triathlon: A 3 stage event where 2 members from each team must answer questions and complete a physical activity before the next 2 members can begin the next state. This event is judged based on the speed of completion as well as the amount of correct answers.
